I purchased the Marisa Shawl when it was on pre-order before being released and I counted down the days until it arrived. The wait was so worth it! This shawl is just gorgeous. The jacquard construction is sound and the design is intricate. It's the perfect adornment to step up style or to provide a little bit of warmth. The woolen blend has excellent drape despite being wool, it is still very soft. So soft in fact that I wore it as a scarf the day of my son's birth and when he was born, we wrapped this around him rather than a receiving blanket. It was in a sense, a touch of luxury-as if we were welcoming a prince into the world (he is our little prince).
